Lead a passionate team at the Coast Salish YMCA Kids Club in Coquitlam, BC. This full-time Team Leader role focuses on program oversight and child-centered activities in a supportive setting. The Coast Salish YMCA is looking for a dedicated Team Leader to supervise its before- and after-school program for children aged 5–12. You will manage staff and volunteers, deliver engaging programming, and maintain a safe workplace. Your leadership will prioritize strong relationships with children, families, and community partners. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct onboarding and training for new staff
- Coach and mentor School Age Leaders effectively
- Build relationships with families and community partners
- Act as an ambassador for organizational initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Child Care Licensing requirements

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of leadership experience
- Strong communication skills and team development focus
- Understanding of childcare licensing standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Current Emergency First Aid & CPR certification
