This Software Requirements and Release Engineer supports QTSC aerial and surface vehicle product families. You will analyze system inputs, decompose requirements, and maintain traceability across software development. The work spans control stations, test equipment, payload systems, and vehicle integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze interfaces, safety inputs, behaviours, and validation information

Decompose higher-level requirements into feasible software requirements

Allocate requirements across software layers and maintain traceability

Define behaviours for faults, recovery, and protected-state logic





Develop acceptance criteria, test cases, and validation evidence

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Software or Computer Engineering

Seven-plus years in requirements, embedded software, or validation

Working knowledge of C++ and Python

Experience with unit testing, SWIL/HIL, and laboratory validation

Eligibility for Canadian security clearance and background screening
