As a Dishwasher at Chartwell, you’ll be a key part of the Dining Services team, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, and our residents enjoy a safe, pleasant dining experience. Your reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork will help us maintain the high standards our residents deserve. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment by hand or in an industrial dishwasher

Keep kitchen equipment, floors, and work areas clean and sanitized

Help with receiving and storing food supplies as needed

Food Handler certification (training provided if needed)

Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience, preferably in a retirement residence or hospitality setting





Teamwork skills and good communication skills to interact with colleagues and residents

A customer-focused mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient work workplace

Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment while standing for extended periods

Manual dexterity to handle tools and kitchen equipment safely
