Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, ambiguous, and cross-team software initiatives.

Architect and build robust backend services and solve difficult technical problems.

Own project execution from design through rollout, including agentic workflows and automated guardrails.

Provide technical guidance through code reviews, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.

Mentor junior engineers and help colleagues use agentic development tools effectively.

Improve reliability, scalability, observability, incident response, engineering tooling, documentation, and code quality across teams.

Influence technical strategy and long-term architecture, including adoption of agentic SDLC practices.

Communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, product managers, and organizational leadership.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience delivering complex software systems and solving technical challenges.

Strong backend experience architecting and building services with Python, Flask, and/or FastAPI.

Experience writing comprehensive backend tests, including Pytest, and maintaining solid test coverage.





Experience building consumer-facing applications and internal tools.

Ability to decompose complex projects into milestones that other engineers can execute.

Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and motivation to improve engineering quality, reliability, and performance.

Familiarity or some frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript is preferred.
