TheHRRepresentativeroleoffersambitiousHumanResourcescareerentrantswithanopportunitytodevelopandenhancepracticalskillsbyexposureandassignmentofhands-ontasks.Youwillworkinapositiveandinclusiveworkenvironmentwhereinnovation,creativity,andcollaborationareencouraged.You’llworkalongsideandsupportmembersofourexperiencedteaminkeyHumanResourcesfunctionssuchasRecordsManagement,Recruitment,TrainingandDevelopment,LabourandEmployeeRelations,HealthandSafety,andTotalCompensation.

Requirements&Qualifications;:

- Post-SecondaryCertificateand/orDiplomainaBusinessAdministrationProgramwithafocusinHumanResources




- Six(6)months’relevantexperienceworkinginanadministrativeorofficeenvironment;HumanResourcesexperienceconsideredanasset.
- KnowledgeofHumanResourcesprogramsandadministrationtosupportcoordinationofcorporateinitiativesandprovideprojectassistance
- Knowledgeofrelevantlegislativeframeworkincludingbutnotlimitedto,EmploymentStandardsAct,OccupationalHealthandSafetyAct,OntarioHumanRightsCode,AccessibilityforOntarianswithDisabilitiesAct,theMunicipalAct
- KnowledgeofHRinformationsystemsanddatabasestoaccessdata,gatherappropriateinformationforspecificHR-relatedpurposesandtopreparereports
- Proficiencywithcommonofficeproductivitysoftware,suchasMicrosoftWord,Excel,Outlookaswellasotherpresentationanddatabaseapplicationstopreparecorrespondence,reportsandpresentations,andcoordinatemeetings
- Abilitytoresearchinitiativesandpreparereportsandrecommendations
- Interpersonalskillstoworkcollaborativelywithcolleagues,clients,andseniorleaderstoprovidewrittenresearch,programsupportandtorespondtoenquiriesasneeded
