GUI Software Developer
- Richmond Hill, ON (in person, full-time permanent) Our client builds award-winning AI and 3D-vision software that lets industrial robots program themselves . We are looking for a GUI software developer to design and implement user interface components and modules for our automation software. The candidate should have keen interest in engineering work and a strong ability to design professional, intuitive user interfaces. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Design, develop and maintain user interfaces for Windows applications with a seamless, visually appealing user experience. Create wireframes, prototypes and mockups to communicate design ideas. Maintain existing front-end modules to ensure reliability and efficiency. Integrate with back-end, external communication protocols and APIs.



Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies. Conduct usability testing and iterate on interface designs. Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues for optimal performance. Requirements Must-haves ~2+ years of software development on Microsoft Windows / .
NET. ~ Proficiency in C#, WPF and the MVVM design pattern (must have). ~ Real UI/UX design skill with Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch (wireframes, prototypes); portfolio preferred. Nice-to-haves XAML and in-depth knowledge of Windows UI design principles. Multi-threading; TCP/IP and networking; RESTful APIs; XML/JSON serialization; Git. Usability testing; solid eye for detail and user-centred design.

Education:
Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent.
