Lead our worship ministry, teams, and Sunday gatherings. Position summary The Worship Pastor guides a worship culture that is Christ-centred, Gospel-shaped, fresh and contemporary; oversees weekly worship as Westwood’s overseeing worship leader; identifies, equips and mentors multiple worship leaders and teams; and oversees the sound, lighting, and video teams that support worship ministry. Primary responsibilities Leadership (35%): develop worship vision and culture; scheduling, training, care and coaching for worship/tech volunteers; AVL resource planning. Worship leading (50%): oversee planning and execution of all Sunday services; lead worship 3 of 5 Sundays; special services (Christmas Eve, Valuable Friday, AGM). Professional development & community engagement (10%). Other duties, administration, and worship budget oversight (5%). Qualifications ~ Strong vocal and instrumental ability,



music theory, and music software competence. ~2+ years planning and leading worship and leading worship teams. ~ Pastoral leadership, team building, and collaborative servant leadership. ~ Some post-secondary biblical/theological education preferred. ~ Affirms the authority of Scripture, the MB Confession of Faith, and Westwood’s mission, vision, values, and bylaws; credentialed or eligible with the BCMB Conference. Compensation & benefits ~$70,000 annually based on full-time (pro-rated if needed). ~ Health insurance and pension benefits; ministry expense allowance. ~ Paid vacation, sick leave, and study leave; relocation assistance (if applicable).
