Apply medical laboratory science and phlebotomy expertise as a part-time temporary Medical Laboratory Technologist in Owen Sound. Analyze specimens and support diagnosis. Brightshores seeks a Registered Technologist for its Laboratory department. The MLT collects patient samples, performs diagnostic testing, interprets results, and prepares reports. This position supports quality patient care while following CMLTO, IQMH, and hospital requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Collect patient samples using all approved collection methods Perform diagnostic tests on patient specimens Analyze and interpret test results accurately Prepare reports supporting diagnosis, treatment,



and disease prevention Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives

Requirements:
Medical Laboratory Science degree or Medical Laboratory Technology certificate Current registration with the CMLTO Eligibility across chemistry, hematology, transfusion medicine, microbiology, and histology CAMLPR certification and excellent phlebotomy skills Experience with analyzers, microscopes, calibrations, and laboratory software Use clinical knowledge, specimen testing, and phlebotomy skills to deliver secure laboratory services for Brightshores patients in Owen Sound.
