Apply analytical and organized laboratory skills as a Medical Laboratory Assistant I at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. This regular part time role supports clinical testing. APL seeks a Medical Laboratory Assistant I for its Accession unit within Alberta’s provincial healthcare system. Collaboration with co-workers, health professionals, physicians, and patients is central to the work. Procure, handle, process, and dispatch laboratory specimens Perform laboratory testing and related procedures Support smooth, timely workflow across laboratory services Accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent completion Completed phlebotomy training for eligible MLT or CLXT students Applicants with a high school diploma may be considered Experience with blood and ECG collections preferred Bring specimen processing, laboratory procedures, and patient-focused collaboration to APL’s Medicine Hat diagnostic services team. #
