This 50% term assignment provides 17.5 hours weekly, with versatile morning or afternoon hours. Working under the Principal, you will collaborate with teachers and professional staff in regular classroom support. The work includes supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and speech or language issues. Responsibilities also address special programs, academic support, and assistive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

- Observe, record, and chart behaviour data
- Provide toileting, lifting, feeding, and yard assistance

Requirements:

- Community college diploma in Developmental Services Worker or equivalent
- One to two years related school-aged experience
- Autism experience and behaviour modification skills
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, TCI, or BMS training
- Assistive technology and computer skills
