Support waste management operations onsite at Peel Region’s Brampton CRC through customer service, traffic direction, and equipment maintenance. This part time contract serves residents safely.

As a Labourer, Waste Management, you will support Community Recycling Centres, Transfer Stations, and Compost Facilities. You will direct vehicles and materials, answer residents’ questions, guide proper disposal, and assist the Sub-Foreperson. The assignment is a nine month short term contract with scheduled weekend and weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct vehicles and materials safely at waste facilities
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Maintain site, buildings, and overall cleanliness
- Load and unload supplies and equipment
- Perform winter maintenance and landscaping duties

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Six months of job related experience
- Class G licence in valuable standing
- Operate and maintain manual and power equipment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
