FortisBC seeks a Customer Service Technician for its Gas branch in Victoria, British Columbia. You will troubleshoot gas-burning equipment, construct and test piping installations, and maintain distribution equipment. The work supports consumer relations, company property, and safe gas service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot gas-burning equipment and make appliances safe
- Construct, test, and certify piping installations
- Install and maintain metering and pressure regulation equipment
- Investigate gas leaks and eliminate hazards
- Handle emergency incidents with authorities and company groups

Requirements:

- High school graduation
- Valid Gas B, Utility, or equivalent ticket
- Secure work habits and safety regulation compliance
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Proficient tools, equipment, instruments, and computer skills
