This permanent full-time float position guarantees 30 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. You will obtain blood samples, conduct patient tests, and support quality metrics. Patient service, accurate data entry, and specimen handling are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quality blood samples using skillful venipuncture techniques
- Conduct patient tests, including ECGs and Holter hookups
- Collect paternity, urine, drug, and breath alcohol specimens
- Enter patient and test information accurately
- Prepare specimens and documentation for laboratory transportation
Requirements:
- Secondary School completion and Laboratory Assistant training
- Specialized phlebotomy training or Medical Lab Assistance course
