We are expanding our Business Development team within the M&A; group and seeking a player-coach hybrid leader. This role combines team management with hands‑on origination, focusing on sourcing acquisition opportunities and building strategic relationships that drive long‑term success. You will engage with decision‑makers at software companies globally (CEOs, VPs of Corporate Development, founders, owners), as well as M&A; advisors and private equity/venture capital professionals. Building and maintaining meaningful relationships Lead and develop a team of M&A; Business Development professionals Build and manage an M&A; pipeline using Salesforce CRM Create market maps and foster robust relationships within assigned software industry verticals 7+ years in Business Development or Sales at a software company, or in a client‑facing M&A;/finance role Strong interest in building long‑term pipelines within software investing Successful backgrounds in entrepreneurship or other high‑performance roles outside of traditional M&A; sourcing will be considered Work with a global leader in software acquisitions Flexible remote or hybrid work options Cooperative,

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only): The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$101,250.00
