As a key member of the Service team, the Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 1 plays a vital role in keeping our rental fleet and customer equipment operating safely, reliably, and effectively. Complete cleaning, washing and routine maintenance of construction equipment; Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment; Testing and operation of construction equipment, including, but not limited to, assessment of damages; Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment, including, but not limited to, maintaining and servicing rental equipment,

Experience:
Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and experience doing preventative maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter changes, breaks, lines etc. Apprentice Mindset: Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision. Skills:




Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics and labor tracking systems would be an asset. A solid commitment to safe work practices, environmental responsibility, and Battlefield’s health and safety policies. Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued. Experience Operating Forklifts A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset. Ownership of personal tools is required for the role.
