We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Financial Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. This role requires solid knowledge of Sage software, as well as extensive bookkeeping experience across multiple industries. Managing the day to day with the path and goal to be promoted to Financial Controller. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries in Sage.



Manage payroll processing and related government remittances. Reconcile accounts monthly and prepare supporting schedules. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, year‑end closing, and audits. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax filings, and regulatory requirements. Monitor cash flow and provide accurate financial reporting to management. Support external accountants and auditors with required documentation. Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency. Minimum of 10 years of professional bookkeeping experience. Proven expertise in Sage accounting software (Sage 50, Sage 300, or equivalent). Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, and tax compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Preferred Assets: Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory compliance. Competitive salary based on experience.
