Analog CAD Engineering Specialist - Analog Design Focus
As an Analog CAD engineering specialist, you will provide tools and support to the circuit implementation teams who build circuits used in cars, cell phones, data centers, etc. using the latest fabrication technologies: finfet, gate all‑around, and using the industry‑leading Cadence software tools, including AI.
Cadence Design
Systems is seeking Analog CAD engineering specialists to support the growing analog design and custom layout team building IP using the Cadence design tools (Virtuoso, Pegasus, Quantus, etc.) to build high speed interfaces used in chips found in cars, cell phones, data centers, etc. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with circuit implementation experts to contribute to the development of exciting chips, work with the best‑in‑class EDA tools and interact with the Cadence engineering team developing those tools and AI around them to improve those tools. Analog CAD tasks The Analog CAD team is a part of the Cadence Design IP development group responsible for supporting the design and layout teams as they design analog IP circuits.
They support the design teams in the different steps of the design and layout flow: design capture, pre and post‑layout simulation, optimization, layout, EM/IR analysis, thermal analysis, reliability, 2.5D and 3D IC, etc. As in‑house customers of the Cadence software and representative users, we play a key role in driving, qualifying and developing the tools, as well as building the AI tools and infrastructure. We build tools to help increase the efficiency of the teams and the quality of the circuits.
Previous experience in Analog CAD support Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills Spécialiste en ingénierie CAD analogique (orientation conception analogique)
Diplôme en génie électrique ou électronique (BSEE ou MSEE) Expérience en support CAD analogique (design, layout) The annual salary range for British Columbia is 130,200 CAD to 241,800 CAD. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and perks.
Our benefits programs include: paid vacation and paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, a variety of medical, dental and vision plan options, and more. We welcome applications from candidates with disabilities and in equity seeking groups.
