Bourgault Industries is seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Apartment Manager to oversee a company-owned six-unit apartment building and two condo units in St. Brieux.
Our housing accommodations support employees on temporary work assignments, newcomers to Canada, and other community members.
The Apartment
Manager plays an important role in ensuring residents have a positive experience and that properties are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tenant arrivals and departures in partnership with HR.
- Welcome new tenants and complete move-in and move-out inspections.
- Maintain occupancy, tenant, and rental records.
- Coordinate cleaning services and ensure units are prepared for new residents.
- Collect and track rental payments.
- Ensure apartments are furnished and stocked with required household items.
- Support newcomer arrivals by arranging basic groceries and other necessities.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with Bourgault staff or external contractors.
- Assist with seasonal property upkeep as required.
Qualifications
- Responsible, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently.
- Experience with property management, hospitality, customer service, or related work is an asset.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and minor repairs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends for tenant arrivals and departures.
Compensation
- Independent contractor position paid at an agreed-upon hourly rate
- Part time role with flexible, varying hours based on operational requirements.
