About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Architectural & Design (A&D;) Representative to help strengthen Unifloor's relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, and other design professionals throughout Metro Vancouver and the surrounding region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional looking to build a career in architectural product specification and business development.

You don't need to be an experienced salesperson. We value your understanding of the design industry, your ability to connect with people, and your willingness to learn.

You'll receive product training, guidance, and support from our experienced management and sales team while developing your own professional network.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, design firms, developers, and other industry professionals.
- Introduce and present Unifloor's flooring collections through office visits, product presentations, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
- Develop new opportunities to have Unifloor products specified in residential, multifamily, hospitality, and commercial projects.
- Attend design-industry events, networking functions,



and trade shows to expand our presence in the A&D; community.
- Work closely with our internal sales team and dealer network to support project opportunities from initial specification through to purchase.
- Maintain organized records of designer contacts, project opportunities, follow-ups, and specification activities using CRM tools.
- Monitor industry trends, upcoming developments, and new opportunities in the local design and construction market.
- Represent Unifloor professionally and contribute to building long-term relationships within the design community.

Who We're Looking For We're interested in candidates who bring a combination of creativity, professionalism, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.

Ideal qualifications:

- Education or experience in interior design, architecture, architectural technology, building materials, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–5 years of relevant professional experience preferred; motivated entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Genuine interest in architecture, interior design, construction materials, and product specifications.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
- Willingness to visit design firms, attend industry events, and develop new professional relationships.
- Comfortable learning CRM systems and maintaining accurate project records.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Metro Vancouver.

Additional assets (not required):





- Experience working in an interior design firm, architectural practice, or design showroom.
- Experience with flooring, tile, surfaces, lighting, furniture, or architectural products.
- Existing connections within Vancouver's design or development community.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, material schedules, and specification processes.
- Previous business development or customer-facing experience.
