THE ROLE
The Arena/Outdoor Facility Maintainer monitors the day-to-day operation of the facility and sports fields’ maintenance, as required. They maintain grounds and playing area of facilities and operate equipment, as required. They perform checks and minor maintenance on equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years’ experience in a related field
Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications
Valid driver’s license (Alberta)
Provincial Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician or equivalent
Experience In operating and maintaining ice rink and outdoor sports facilities equipment In resource administration In monitoring and training employees In providing customer service In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential
