THE ROLE
The Arena Attendant monitors and maintains the ice rink. They respond to inquiries about the facility, hours, regulations and rules, provides information on services provided. The Arena Attendant ensures safety and enforces rules concerning conduct and use of equipment. The Arena Attendant maintains valuable ice conditions by scraping, shovelling, brushing and hosing the ice. Administrative duties of the Arena Attendant include the maintenance of facility logs.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High School Diploma
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
Experience in ice rink maintenance and operating ice rink equipment
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential
