Chateau Windows & Doors is a leading provider of luxury windows and doors, specializing in high-end residential projects. We work closely with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers to deliver custom window and door solutions with exceptional quality, precision, and attention to detail.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural drafting, with specific experience in the window and door industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings for custom window and door projects.
- Develop shop drawings, elevations, sections, and installation details based on architectural plans and project specifications.
- Review architectural drawings, measurements, and project requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Interpret construction drawings and translate technical specifications into detailed fabrication and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Installation, and Project Management teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and project changes.
- Identify potential design conflicts, dimensional discrepancies, and installation challenges before production.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards,



manufacturer specifications, and applicable building requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
- Provide technical drafting support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Previous drafting experience in the window and door industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing shop drawings for residential or commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of window and door systems, configurations, dimensions, and installation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
- Experience with custom, high-end residential windows and doors is considered an asset.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
