The Equipment Operator works on site, operating wheel loaders, skid steers, and various equipment. This position requires wheel loader experience, physical capability, English communication, and strong customer service. You will document inspections and communicate concerns or suggestions to supervisors and management. The work supports waste diversion and the circular economy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wheel loaders, skid steers, and site equipment safely
- Complete daily equipment inspections and documentation
- Communicate concerns and suggestions to supervisors
- Communicate operational matters with management
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Requirements:
- Experience operating a wheel loader
- Waste and recycling industry experience is an asset
- Robust customer service orientation
- Ability to perform the position’s physical requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
