Phlebotomy and patient service come together at LifeLabs in this part time Lab Patient Technician position with various shifts. Support accurate specimen collection.

As a Lab Patient Technician, you will guide patients through specimen collection and prepare samples for transportation. The work includes phlebotomy, ECG tracings, Holter monitor connections, data entry, and client communication. Your care supports patients and laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and confirm required testing information
- Perform phlebotomies, ECG tracings, and Holter monitor connections
- Collect special tests and complete related documentation
- Enter patient demographics and requisition information
- Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:

- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduation preferred
- Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
- ECG training or experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Computer skills with minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
