Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with extensive experience in building robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services and APIs that support our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Strong experience in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Solid understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in backend development.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
