We are seeking a safety-conscious AZ Truck Driver to transport freight efficiently and reliably. The role involves operating commercial vehicles, completing pre- and post-trip checks. You’ll work with dispatch and customers to support timely deliveries while following road safety requirements and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate an AZ-class commercial truck to transport freight along assigned routes.
- Secure, inspect, and handle cargo to help prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, delays, and delivery updates.
- Complete required trip, inspection, and delivery documentation accurately.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle defects or maintenance needs.
- Follow traffic laws, workplace safety procedures, and cargo-handling requirements.
- Keep the vehicle and work area clean and organized.
- Assist with basic vehicle checks and minor troubleshooting; report repair needs to the appropriate team.
Requirements
- Min 1 year valid AZ driver’s licence and a safe driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication, time-management, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to safely handle freight and perform loading or unloading duties as required.
- Commitment to protected driving practices and compliance with applicable transportation regulations.
Pay: $6,000.00-$7,500.00 per month
