Overview

- Join our bagel shop as a part-time crew member and help create a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest.

- Support daily shop operations, including food preparation, counter service, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

Duties

- Prepare bagels, sandwiches, and other menu items according to shop procedures and food safety standards.

- Greet customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide friendly customer service.

- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS if applicable, and process transactions accurately.

- Handle cash and complete cashiering tasks, using basic math to verify orders and payments.

- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.

- Suggest menu items and use appropriate upselling to help customers choose products.

- Follow food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures throughout each shift.

- Keep counters, equipment,



and kitchen areas clean and stocked.

- Coordinate with teammates to manage orders and service during busy periods.

Requirements

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.

- Comfort with basic math, cash handling, and learning POS systems.

- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation practices.

- Food preparation, food handling, cashiering, or serving experience is a plus.

- Previous food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

- Available during holiday and Long weekend

- Must be able to work independent opening or closing shift

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
