About Job
This position reports to production supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Set up and adjust machines preparatory to operation.
- Operate machinery through control panels and manual controls to form, proof or bake breads.
- Assist the baker in gathering and scaling ingredients according to the recipes.
- Ensure and verify the proper weight and size of the products being made.
- Monitor oven temperatures and speeds to ensure the equipment is operating according to the standard.
- Check products for defects and compliance to company standards and adjust machines as necessary.
- Ensure quality is maintained and safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Clean equipment at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
- Able to push 20kg bowl on wheels with dough in it.
- Cooperative and team player.
- Able to speak, read and understand English.
- Flexible schedule and able to work weekends.
- Able to work in a dusty environment and able to perform lifting of 20 kg.
