Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Bakery Team Leader onsite at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency and providing quality service.
- Oversee the daily production of breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Ensure team members are displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise with a focus on visually appealing presentation.
- Manage inventory according to established standards to maintain accuracy and minimize loss.
- Maintain a clean department, ensuring compliance with Food Safety legislation requirements.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally,



ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Champion food safety, asset protection, and safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

- 5+ years experience in bakery or food service operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience within the Co-operative Retailing System and post-secondary education in a bakery- or food service-related program are assets.
- Experience with baking equipment, recipes, and production planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead teams.
- Fulfill physical job requirements, including standing for entire shift and lifting 50lbs.
- Versatile schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license.
