Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Barista/All-Rounder to join our Toast & Jam team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness and organization, and supporting the Front of House team to ensure efficient service in a quick-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in beverage quality and presentation, works well as part of a team, and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing high-quality coffees, lattes, and specialty beverages according to recipes and service standards.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and visual presentation of all beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar and beverage preparation areas.
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and communicate low-stock items as needed.
- Deliver beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth and efficient service.
- Interacting with guests as needed in a positive, helpful, and professional manner.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.




- Assist with Front of House duties as required.

Requirements

- Valid Smart Serve Certification is required.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding beverage quality and presentation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
- Commitment to providing an excellent guest experience.
- The ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Dependable, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
- Previous barista experience or hospitality experience is considered an asset.

Mornings, day-shift.

Wednesday - Sunday

Must have weekend availability.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 32.0 per week
