Rated one of the top 50 independent coffee shops in Toronto, Creeds Coffee Bar & Market is looking for an Experienced Full-Time or Part-Time Barista to join our team in The Annex.

We are looking for individuals who share our passion for specialty coffee, gourmet food, and a commitment to the highest standards of customer service. Working at Creeds, our café staff and baristas provide friendly, knowledgeable, and outstanding customer service through excellent product knowledge and superior barista skills.

As a Senior Barista, you will support all sales efforts in the café by ensuring every beverage is prepared to Creeds Coffee Bar's high standards, while championing our commitment to quality across all our food and retail offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Dial in specialty coffee to ensure perfectly extracted espresso and high-quality brews.
- Greet and interact warmly with all customers, building community within the café.
- Prepare beverages and actively sell coffee, gourmet food, and other retail merchandise.
- Maintain deep coffee knowledge on our current offerings and confidently, accurately communicate product information to customers.
- Respond efficiently and positively to customer questions, orders, and concerns.
- Use initiative to consistently complete all daily and weekly café checklists.
- Food Prep: Prepares ingredients, follows recipes, and maintains a clean work area to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage opening and closing procedures,



ensuring all associated protocols are strictly followed.
- Uphold our standards regarding pristine cleanliness and organization throughout the café.
- Follow all policies and procedures laid out by Creeds Coffee Bar.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to continuously grow your skills.
- Stock shelves and manage retail displays.
- Assist with other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Barista experience is strictly required (experience with dialing in, milk texturing, and specialty coffee equipment).
- A genuine passion for specialty coffee, gourmet food, and community-focused hospitality.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high standards in a quick-paced environment.
