Shakespeare Mills Inc. is looking for a Beef Feed Advisor to work directly with beef producers throughout Southwestern Ontario.

This is primarily an on-farm role focused on building relationships, understanding each operation, and providing practical nutritional guidance that supports herd health, consistent performance and successful beef production.

Our goal is simple: help beef producers maintain healthy, productive cattle through sound nutrition and dependable feeding programs.

What You'll Do

· Build strong, long-term relationships with beef producers across cow-calf, backgrounding and feedlot/finishing operations.

· Spend the majority of your time on farm, understanding each operation, it’s goals and it’s challenges.

· Provide practical feeding and nutrition recommendations that support herd health and consistent performance.

· Review cattle performance, forage and feed information to identify opportunities, manage nutritional risks and troubleshoot problems.

· Work closely with SMI's team, sharing knowledge and ideas to develop effective feeding programs and solutions for our customers.

· Develop new relationships and help grow SMI's beef business throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of beef cattle and nutrition who can bring value to conversations on farm.

Experience in beef nutrition, feed advising, cattle management,



ration formulation or beef production would be valuable.

Formal education in agriculture, animal science or nutrition is an asset, but isn't the only path we're interested in.

The ability to formulate rations and experience with beef nutrition software are assets, but aren't required.

Most importantly, you should be comfortable working directly with producers, asking good questions, solving problems and following through.

POSITION DETAILS

Compensation: $75,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
