Peace Hills Insurance is seeking a Director for their governance board that focuses on strategic direction, oversight, accountability, and risk. The ideal candidates would bring the following skills and experience to the Board:

- Senior leadership experience that demonstrates strong financial and corporate acumen,

preferably within the Property and Casualty insurance industry or a comparable financial services environment.
- Sound judgment and a proven ability to provide effective oversight and make principled, ethical

decisions.
- A solid understanding of brand and reputational risk, including the strategic implications of brokerbased

sales and distribution models.
- Governance experience in a regulated industry including insight into government relations.




- Understanding of Indigenous Peoples’ distinct histories, cultures, protocols, values, beliefs and

governance practices.
- A strategic, forward‐looking perspective on the organization’s long‐term success.
- Several years of prior board or governance experience.
- An ICD.D designation is preferred.
