Job Overview The Breakfast Attendant helps create a welcoming start to each guest’s day by preparing and maintaining the breakfast area, assisting guests, and keeping service spaces clean and well stocked. The role is suited to someone who enjoys hospitality, works well in a team, and can provide attentive, friendly service in a busy setting. Food service, hotel, or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Duties

- Welcome guests and respond to questions or requests with courteous, attentive service.
- Set up the breakfast area and prepare food and beverages according to established procedures.
- Replenish food, drinks, utensils, and supplies throughout service.
- Assist with serving guests and, when needed, operate a POS system or handle payments.
- Follow food safety and food-handling practices, including proper storage and cleanliness.
- Clean tables, counters, kitchen areas, and equipment during and after service.
- Monitor the breakfast area to ensure it remains organized, inviting, and ready for guests.
- Communicate supply needs,



guest concerns, and service issues to the appropriate team members.

Skills

- Strong customer service, guest services, and communication skills.
- Interest or experience in hospitality, food service, serving, or restaurant and hotel environments.
- Familiarity with food preparation, meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and food safety; willingness to follow food-handling guidelines.
- Comfort using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Cashiering and cash-handling experience is helpful.
- Barista experience is a plus.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively while maintaining a welcoming attitude.

Pay: $17.03 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
