Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bread Baker to prepare and bake high-quality breads and other bakery items. The role involves following recipes, maintaining consistent product quality, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The baker will also support general kitchen operations and help ensure products are safely prepared, packaged, and ready for customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare doughs and other ingredients using established recipes and production procedures.

- Mix, shape, proof, bake, and finish breads while monitoring timing, temperature, texture, and appearance.

- Complete food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients and preparing fillings or toppings.

- Package, label, and store finished products appropriately.

- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper sanitation and safe storage.

- Maintain clean, organized workstations and care for bakery tools and equipment.

- Coordinate with kitchen and bakery team members to meet production needs.





- Assist with customer service and respond courteously to questions about bakery products when needed.

- Support related baking tasks, which may include basic cake decorating.

Qualifications

- Baking experience or a solid interest in developing professional baking skills.

- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.

- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.

- Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and work carefully in a fast-paced food industry environment.

- Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or other food industry experience is helpful but not required.

- Cake decorating experience and customer service skills are welcome.

- Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
