The Handyman Co. is seeking skilled and experienced Stone Mason Subcontractors for residential stone masonry projects in Bracebridge and surrounding areas.

This is a subcontractor opportunity, not a full-time employee position.

Work is offered on a project-by-project basis. Each project will have a defined scope of work and an agreed-upon fixed contract payment before work begins.

We are looking for dependable, experienced tradespeople who take pride in their craftsmanship and can deliver qualified results.

Responsibilities

- Install natural stone for residential projects.
- Complete stone veneer and cultured stone installations.
- Install flagstone patios and walkways.
- Construct retaining walls.
- Build and install stone steps and entrances.
- Perform masonry repairs and restoration.
- Complete projects according to the agreed scope of work.
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Communicate professionally regarding project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Follow applicable health and safety requirements.

Requirements
- Proven experience in stone masonry and installation.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently.




- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to understand project specifications.
- Reliable communication and professionalism.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Tools, insurance and WSIB requirements: To be confirmed.

Compensation and Contract Structure
- Fixed-price contracts: Each project has a set payment amount agreed upon before work begins.
- No hourly wages: Compensation is based on completing the agreed project scope, not hours worked.
- Project-based opportunities: Work is offered as individual projects become available.
- No guaranteed full-time work: This is not a permanent full-time employee position.
- Materials provided: The Handyman Co. will supply the materials required for each project.
- Project details provided upfront: Scope of work, contract payment, and expected completion timeline will be communicated before accepting a project.

Schedule and Location Location: Bracebridge, Ontario, and surrounding areas.

Schedule: Project-based. Scheduling and completion timelines are agreed upon for each individual contract.
