Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Budtender to provide knowledgeable, welcoming service in a regulated retail environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, communicates clearly, and can balance attentive service with accurate transactions and organized store operations.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, listen to their needs, and provide courteous, informative customer service.

- Explain available products and help customers make informed selections, following applicable laws and store policies.

- Use retail sales and upselling skills to suggest relevant products without pressuring customers.

- Process purchases accurately using the POS system; handle cashiering, cash handling, and basic payment reconciliation.

- Apply basic math skills when processing transactions and checking totals.

- Maintain product displays, support merchandising, and help keep the sales floor clean, orderly, and well stocked.

- Use computer operation and general computer skills to access store systems and complete routine tasks.

- Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and other administrative duties; use Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, as needed.

- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, using strong communication skills and English proficiency.

- Manage competing tasks with time management and organizational skills, while contributing to a positive team environment.

- Support team coordination and demonstrate leadership when appropriate.

- Safely move and restock merchandise,



including occasional heavy lifting, in accordance with workplace safety practices.

Requirements

- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in hospitality, retail, sales, cashiering, or a customer-facing role is an asset.

- Comfort using POS systems, handling cash, operating computers, and learning new software.

- Basic math ability and attention to detail when processing transactions and maintaining records.

- Good time management, organization, reliability, and a professional approach to customer interactions.

- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving merchandise as needed.

- English proficiency is required. French, bilingual, or other multilingual abilities are welcome.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel is an asset.

- Willingness to follow all applicable regulations, store procedures, and safety requirements.

Pay: $100.00-$500.00 per week
