As an Assistant Underwriter, you will support the Commercial Insurance team under the Team Leader, Technical Processing. Your work includes gathering new-business information, processing transactions, maintaining data, and completing documentation. You will collaborate with underwriting technicians and underwriters while managing multiple systems and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather background information for new commercial business
- Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, inspections, and quotations
- Enter and organize policy documentation in commercial insurance systems




- Order reports and follow up on outstanding requirements
- Handle billing inquiries and support general office duties

Requirements:

- High school diploma and relevant work experience
- At least two years of insurance experience
- Underwriting support or technician experience preferred
- Solid computer skills with databases or portals
- English proficiency required; French bilingualism is an asset
