Deliver mental health nursing care as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse on Homewood Health’s on-site Nursing Resource Team. Support patients with addictions and diverse diagnoses.

This Registered Practical Nurse position supports Homewood Health’s people-centered mental health services. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, complete clinical assessments, and follow care plans. The work involves interdisciplinary collaboration, changing assignments, and patient-focused communication across Elective Psychiatry Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care for addictions and mental health patients
- Administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments
- Initiate clinical assessments, including Mental Status Exams




- Receive assignments and follow patient care plans
- Participate in teams, discussions, and patient conferences

Requirements:

- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Registration maintained in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and PHIPPA
- Ability to manage crises and acutely ill patients
