Use electrical maintenance and installation expertise as an Electrician serving Essex and surrounding counties. This permanent role covers facilities management for a leading retail company.

The Electrician installs, repairs, modifies, and maintains electrical systems across stores, Support Centre offices, distribution warehouses, and associated external areas. The work includes fire alarms, emergency lighting, statutory inspections, troubleshooting, remedial works, and recent store installations. You will work as directed by the Electrical Manager and alongside shop fit contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and repair electrical power systems across buildings
- Maintain fire alarms and emergency lighting systems
- Conduct statutory inspections and identify electrical hazards




- Complete remedial works following five-year fixed wire reports
- Supervise and train Apprentice and Junior Electricians

Requirements:

- Hold ECS gold card and 18th Edition
- Or complete Level 3 NVQ with AM2 qualification
- Have over three years’ construction electrician experience
- Provide two recent work references as an Electrician
- PASM tower scaffolding training is preferable
