Noltechs Security Inc. is looking for a motivated and reliable Low Voltage Cabling Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial low-voltage cabling, IT infrastructure, and security system installations.
Job Responsibilities
- Install commercial low-voltage data cabling, including Cat5e and Cat6.
- Perform cable pulling, routing, dressing, labelling, and termination.
- Terminate cables at patch panels, network racks, and data outlets.
- Assist with fiber optic cable installation and termination.
- Install and organize network racks, patch panels, and structured cabling systems.
- Assist with CCTV camera, access control, and alarm system installations.
- Work safely on ladders, at heights, and on scissor lifts or boom lifts as required.
- Test, troubleshoot, and verify cable connections.
- Follow project specifications and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of commercial data cabling and low-voltage installations.
- Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 termination is preferred.
- Fiber optic cabling experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working at heights and on commercial construction sites
- Valid lift license or willingness to obtain one.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
