Job Overview

- We are seeking a detail-oriented Cardiac Technologist to support the evaluation and monitoring of patients’ heart health. In this clinical role, you will perform cardiac diagnostic procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and help ensure accurate results and a safe, reassuring patient experience.

- You will work closely with physicians, and other healthcare professionals, following established clinical protocols and patient privacy and safety standards.

- Relevant education, clinical training, and credentials will be required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for cardiac tests by explaining procedures, confirming relevant information, and positioning patients appropriately.

- Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs/EKGs), Holter monitoring hook up and analysis, ABPs hookup and upload and stress testing (stress echos and GXTs) when needed.

- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain cardiac testing equipment; identify and report equipment issues.

- Monitor patients during procedures, recognize changes or signs of distress, and promptly alert the appropriate clinical staff/doctors.





- Review test recordings for quality and completeness, document procedures accurately.

- Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidential health information.

- Communicate professionally with patients and care teams, helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout testing.

Skills

- Strong attention to detail when obtaining recordings, checking equipment, and documenting patient information.

- Clear, compassionate communication and a patient-centered approach.

- Ability to follow clinical instructions, protect confidential information, and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

- Advanced arrhythmia interpretation skills are an asset.

- One year clinical experience preferred.

- Knowledge of Welch Allyn and Northeast programs preferred.

Qualifications

- Graduate from a recognized Cardiology Technology program and registration with CSCT/OSCT

- CPR BLS-HCP

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
