Position: Full Time Registered Childhood Educators.

Schedule: 35-40 hours per week for Full-Time

Balancing program responsibilities and cleaning duties requires flexibility, initiative, and a self-motivated disposition. You will be required to demonstrate the children’s learning through conversations and written documentation. This position requires the ability to build a strong community connection through daily interactions with children, parents and representatives from local agencies to provide complete care for children and families.

It is essential to commit to professional development within the organization.

You can demonstrate the following responsibilities

- Provides quality, age appropriate care that meets the regulations outlined by the Child Care and Early Years Act (2014) and the policies and procedures outlined by Kinder Academy
- A belief that all children are curious, competent and natural explorers and the role of the classroom teacher is to learn alongside they children giving them more opportunities to experience and strengthen their growth




- Attend staff meetings outside of regularly scheduled shift
- Supervises children through daily routines and transitions
- Completes all required paperwork daily
- Good communication skills
- A positive, fun-loving attitude with the ability to work in a team and be self-motivated
- Completes documentations regularly
- Must be flexible and willing to work different shifts

You bring the following qualifications:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator qualification diploma
- Proof of good standing with the College of ECE or Ontario College of Teachers
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development
- Demonstrated knowledge or interest in the “How Does Learning Happen” framework
- Demonstrated experience working with children ages 0-12 years
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Clean Criminal Reference Check with the Vulnerable Sector
- Up to date Immunization Record with proof of current Tuberculosis (TB) Test and clean bill of health
