Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to support individuals with daily living needs and help them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. Care may take place in a private home or a residential care setting, depending on client needs. This role is suited to someone who is attentive, respectful, and committed to providing protected, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and daily assistance, including support with bathing, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living.

- Prepare meals and assist with eating while following individual dietary needs and preferences.

- Support medication administration in accordance with care plans, training, and applicable policies.

- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.

- Assist with light cleaning and household tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

- Observe and communicate changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate care team.

- Follow care plans and safety procedures,



including safe practices when assisting with mobility or heavy lifting.

- Provide respectful support for clients with dementia, disabilities, or hospice care needs.

Experience

- Caregiving, patient care, senior care, or home care experience is preferred.

- Experience in assisted living, a nursing home, or hospice care is a plus.

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing dementia care is valued.

- Background in nursing or medication administration is helpful; duties must be performed within applicable training and authorization.

- Meal preparation and cleaning experience are beneficial.

- Ability to assist with mobility and physical tasks, including heavy lifting when required, using safe techniques.

- Strong communication, patience, reliability, and respect for client privacy are essential.

Pay: $20.30 per hour
