Casual Environmental Services Aide

Wildwood Care Centre is seeking a highly reliable and dedicated Casual Environmental Services Aide to join our team. You are a crucial part of our commitment to resident comfort and safety, ensuring a clean, welcoming and infection free living setting for all.
Key Responsibilities:
· Housekeeping: Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of resident rooms, common areas, washrooms, and offices according to established long-term care standards and infection control policies.
· Maintain inventory and ensure the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
· Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, including the safe handling of chemicals and waste.
The health and safety of our residents and staff depend on a consistently clean environment. For this reason, commitment and reliability for your scheduled shifts are essential.
We require candidates who can demonstrate punctual attendance, commitment to shifts and professional responsibility.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or laundry preferably in a healthcare setting.
· Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control procedures.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
· Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for the duration of the shift.
· Must be able to obtain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sectors Check (VSC).
· VSC and TB Screening required upon hire.
