Support student wellness as a Relief Nurse at The Bishop Strachan School, using strong clinical judgment and emergency skills on site. Shifts run 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on an as needed, casual basis.

This Relief Wellness

Nurse serves Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 students and responds to parent concerns. The position provides individualized care, manages health information, and supports the Wellness Centre. Success requires youth experience, independent nursing practice, and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized nursing care for day and Boarding students Respond to school health emergencies and EMS calls Manage medication dispensing, storage, inventory,



and disposal Administer annual flu shots and other vaccinations Document health data and maintain confidential electronic records Requirements: Related post-secondary nursing education and current Ontario registration Valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Experience working with youth, preferably in education Strong clinical skills and emergency nursing experience Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills Bring clinical expertise, emergency readiness, and compassionate youth care to The Bishop Strachan School’s Wellness Centre.
