Services seeks a Child and Youth Counsellor I for its Benjamin Road service area. You will support therapeutic environments through counselling, behaviour monitoring, documentation, and social emotional learning. The position includes recreational and skills development programming for individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain safe therapeutic environments with the Primary Youth Worker Support recreational and skills development programming Supervise, support, counsel, and monitor client behaviour Design daily routines, norms, and group structure Complete service-area documentation and maintain clean program spaces Requirements: Diploma or degree in child and youth work At least one year of successful related experience Ability to design recreational and group programming Current First Aid and CPR certificate CIT completion or equivalent and a G class licence Bring youth counselling, programming, documentation, and resilience to Starling Community Services in Waterloo’s Benjamin Road service area.
