Centre is looking for a Christian Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a maternity leave contract role. You will help create a loving, caring, and Christ-centred environment for children aged 18 months to 4 years.

Reports to: Site Manager / Program Manager Maternity leave contract (temporary) December 1, 2026 (flexible) Full-time Regent Early Learning Centre, Cloverdale Nurturing Care: Provide a loving, caring, and safe environment for children aged 18 months to 4 years.

Programming: Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based activities that support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise children attentively, follow licensing requirements, ratios, and emergency procedures, and keep the space clean and safe. A gentle, caring approach to young children, and the ability to respond calmly to their needs.

Child Development: Understanding of how children aged 18 months to 4 years learn and grow through play.

Spiritual Integration:



Ability to share the love of Christ with children through daily interactions and routines. A friendly, servant-hearted team player who builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. ECE Certificate.

Valid Emergency Child Care First

Aid with CPR/AED Level B certification.

Experience creating a loving, caring environment for children aged 18 months to 4 years. Commitment to the RCAS Christian mission and Statement of Faith. Satisfactory criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector search.

Pay: $22.50 per hour, plus any applicable government-funded wage enhancement (see below).

Time Off & Development: Paid sick and flex days per RCAS policy. RELC hosts an annual professional development conference and covers the cost of First Aid training every three years. These enhancements are determined, administered, and funded solely by the Government of British Columbia and may change, pause, or discontinue at any time.
