EyeQ Security Services – Club Security Officer (Evening/Night Shifts Available)

EyeQ Security Services is expanding and seeking skilled, alert, and confident Security Officers for club and nightlife environments. These roles involve maintaining a strong, visible presence while ensuring the safety of patrons, staff, and property in fast-paced, high-energy settings. Positions may transition into permanent full-time opportunities.

Role Overview

As a Club Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order, enforcing venue policies, and responding to incidents with professionalism and control. This role requires strong situational awareness, conflict management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in crowded, high-stimulation environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Control and monitor entry and exit points, including ID verification and capacity management
- Conduct active floor patrols and maintain visibility throughout the venue
- Manage crowd behavior and de-escalate conflicts before they escalate
- Respond to incidents such as intoxication, altercations, theft, or disturbances
- Enforce venue policies and provincial regulations (liquor laws, safety codes)
- Complete detailed incident reports and documentation
- Coordinate with team members and escalate issues to law enforcement when required
- Ensure a safe, controlled, and enjoyable environment for patrons and staff
- Provide customer service while maintaining authority and professionalism

Requirements

- Valid Provincial Security Guard License (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of security experience, preferably in nightlife, bars, or events
- Experience with use of force and de-escalation techniques
- Basic understanding of legal authorities and responsibilities in security roles
- Physically capable of standing/walking for long periods and responding quickly
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, and 8–12 hour shifts
- Reliable transportation required
- Knowledge of access control systems is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

- $16.80 – $18.25 per hour
