Office Location: Fort St John or Kelowna or Victoria
Salary: $74,267.05 - $84,409.25 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.
An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.
An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
About the Job:
Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Communications Coordinator (Coordinator) is responsible for providing qualified communications expertise and a range of communications services. The Coordinator provides report preparation and support for the external website, social media channels and graphics in support of projects and strategic objectives of the BCER. This position also assists in the handling of external communication requests for the BCER.
Communications and Strategic Engagement provides strategic advice, logistic and tactical communication support and service to other branches within the BCER. It includes issues management and media relations, internal communications and graphics, design, videography and video editing, social media content development and monitoring, writing and web development; as well as industry and government relations.
